I was recommended to Alex for an implant by my mother in law who has had 3 implants done by Alex. I came with a worn out crown which kept falling out and a tooth with a fractured root. The initial procedure was relatively painless and the follow up procedures (3 in all) have been quick and painless too. The final result is excellent and a massive improvement on what was there previously. I highly recommend both Alex and the procedure and will have another done when required.
What are Dental Implants?
Dental implants look, feel and function like natural teeth. They can give you a real boost in both your private and professional life, allowing you to eat, speak and smile with confidence. The permanent natural replacement for missing teeth or dentures, a dental implant is a small man-made titanium screw that serves as the replacement for the root portion of a missing natural tooth. The implant is placed in the bone of the upper or lower jaw and when bonded with the bone, serves as an anchor for the replacement tooth. Dental implants can be used to replace a single lost tooth or many missing teeth. At PDC Dental we use the world's leading implants by 'Nobel Biocare', the results being proven and astonishing.
PDC Dental offers patients with dentures or failing teeth the opportunity to be given a new smile within a single day. The revolutionary All-on-4 treatment provides you with a permanent solution and can restore the self confidence which is often lost due to the less satisfactory alternatives.

In the UK, around 1 in 5 adults wear some form of removable dentures. According to the last Adult Dental Health Survey, carried out in 2009, the group that had the most problems with things like eating, drinking and communicating were people with a combination of natural teeth and dentures.
In fact, when asked whether they rated their dental health positively, only 55% of people with partial dentures answered yes.
Traditional dentures present a number of problems. Even if they fit well to start with, your gums will change shape over time, and the dentures may start to rub, causing soreness and swelling. As well as causing pain, dentures can also slip during conversation, can make chewing food difficult, and can even alter the way food tastes by covering the roof of the mouth.
When normal day-to-day tasks like talking and eating are affected in this way, quality of life can be severely reduced. Dental implants can eliminate these problems, improving your oral health and overall sense of wellbeing.
